An ADHDier course · Time + Remembering
Understanding Your ADHD Story
Late recognition doesn't just change your future. It quietly rewrites your past — and you get a say in how.
What this course is
Not motivation.
Activation.
Nobody gets diagnosed — or realises — in a vacuum. You arrive at the answer carrying thirty, forty, fifty years of other explanations: lazy, scattered, too sensitive, so much potential.
This course is about going back through that archive with new information. Not to relitigate everything, and not to forgive everything either — just to finally read your own history accurately.
It's quieter work than the practical courses. For a lot of people, it turns out to be the work that makes the practical ones stick.
The course map
Six lessons, in order.
5 lessons · work at your own pace
01The Years Before You Knew
You didn't have a character flaw with a funny name. You had an unnamed difference, and a lifetime of explanations that were slightly wrong.
11 min · Listen first
02The Coping That Worked (Until It Didn't)
You built a life out of workarounds: adrenaline, perfectionism, overcommitting, other people's urgency. Then the load grew, and the scaffolding didn't.
11 min · Listen first
03The Grief and the Relief
Finally having an answer brings two feelings at once: the relief of an explanation, and grief for the years spent without one. Both deserve air.
10 min · Listen first
04Rewriting Without Erasing
The accurate story isn't 'ADHD explains everything.' It's 'ADHD explains the pattern — and the rest was me, doing my best with bad information.'
11 min · Listen first
05Carrying the Story Forward
What you keep, what you put down, and how to talk about it — to partners, to kids, to employers, to yourself on bad days.
