Your Attention Kit
You now know more about your attention than most grown-ups know about theirs. Time to pack the kit.
Listen first
Listen first: what you found out
Spoken introduction · read aloud in your browser
You've been a detective for four lessons. You know where your attention runs, what steals it, how to come back, and where your brain works best.
Last job: put it all in one place, so Future You can use it — and so the grown-ups around you know what actually helps.
Why a kit
Knowing things isn't the same as having them when you need them
On a hard day, you won't remember four lessons. Nobody would. Brains under stress forget their own tricks.
That's why the kit is written down. One page: your thieves, your come-back moves, your focus spot, your fuels.
And here's the grown-up part: you can show it to a teacher or parent. 'This is what helps my brain' is a sentence that changes things.

You know how your attention works now. That's a thing some people never learn.
Try this
Teach it to someone
The best way to keep something is to teach it.
- 01Pick a grown-up or a friend.
- 02Tell them three things: where your attention goes, your biggest thief, and one thing that helps.
- 03Watch them go 'huh, that makes sense.' Because it does.
Explaining your brain is a skill you'll use your whole life. This was practice.
Reframe
I'm the kid who can't concentrate.
I'm the kid who knows how my attention works.

The hard-day version
Some days nothing works. On those days, the kit shrinks to one line: fuel first (snack, move, water), then ONE small thing. Hard days don't erase what you know.

Big Feelings, Better Recovery
Attention is one fast thing your brain does. Feelings are another. Learn what to do when they arrive at full volume.
See the course library“Nobody ever explained my brain to me before. They just told me to use it differently.”
Keep this
Three things to take.
- 01Write the kit down — stressed brains forget their own tricks.
- 02Telling a grown-up 'this is what helps my brain' is allowed, and powerful.
- 03Hard days get the one-line version. The kit is still yours.
